Estate pieces are used, not new. Used pieces will have the same patina as your own pieces. Silver Patina is a gorgeous, rich, warm, soft, lustrous finish that forms over time as a result of use and handling. Buffing can be done on each piece to look "newer", however it will remove the patina. If you would like to have your pieces buffed, please call Customer Service for a price quote.

Reed & Barton's Burgundy is a gorgeous sterling silverware pattern that features a scalloped tip, a superbly sculpted scroll, leaf, and flower design, and a glossy finish. This classic pattern, first produced in 1949, was immediately popular, and has understandably remained so since.

A French Blade has a notch where the blade meets the handle. Please see image. The french blade is on the bottom (pattern is not this pattern).
